What are your opening hours?
Phone lines and showroom open Monday to Friday 9am - 8pm Saturday 9am - 5pm Sunday 11am - 4pm (online 24 hours). Live chat is available when possible outside these hours (an actual Sleepland member in Chester therefore if you need to follow up with a phone call you can speak to them, we don't outsource)
When will delivery be?
The maximum lead times are stated on each item. Any out of stock items are stated as out of stock with a due date. We generally work outstanding delivery routes out between Friday and Monday and contact you to check convenient on Monday or Tuesday. We take requests into consideration and work out one hour slots so you don't have to wait in all day.
Have you increased the VAT?
No, unfortunately we will have to at some point, especially with the increase to 20%. For the time being we have not increased our prices and still hold the 2.5 reduction based on 15%, plus the coupon SUMMER gives you an extra 5% on top of this. Unfortunately unless by some miracle it is going up to 20% early next year, we are hoping a miracle does happen.
Do you accept returns?
Yes we want you to buy with confidence and be happy with your purchase. Please contact us within 7 working days to let us know you would like to return your items for a refund or exchange. We just ask you please keep them safe and in the condition they arrived. We hope it gives you confidence to know we almost never get requests for returns based on last 12 months.
Do your products carry a guarantee?
Yes, all beds, furniture and mattresses carry a minimum one year manufacturer guarantee. Any exceptions with longer are stated.
I'm ordering other items with my bed can I have a discount?
Yes you can, we give you extra loyalty discounts on furniture and mattresses, see below your bed. If you would prefer a different mattress than one seen on the multi-buy page where the discounts are applied, please send a message via contact us page for your discount code. Please don't feel embarrassed we want you to.
Where Do you Deliver to?
We deliver to the entire UK. Delivery is free to the majority of UK. There is a small cost for areas such as Ireland, Highlands and Grampians where we would incur a loss with free delivery due to our low margins, more information on the bed delivery page.
Who are Sleepland Beds?
Sleepland Beds is a family run company. We have an online shop, two large warehouses, our own fleet of vans and transport dept and a showroom with our call centre above. You can be assured you are dealing with an established, well respected company. Plus we're very friendly and approachable so please never hesitate in contacting us. We hope it doesn't happen and touch wood, it doesn't often, however if you do experience any problems with your items, you can be assured we will rectify this for you.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes we do, we appreciate that not everyone is near enough to visit us however if you are in Cheshire we look forward to seeing you. Our shop is a relaxed and friendly environment where you can feel comfortable to browse at your leisure. We don't have any pushy salespeople, if you know what I mean, whether you phone or visit us. What payment options do you give me?
Debit/credit cards, either online payment or by phone. As we have our own delivery service we are able to offer you a cash on delivery option. Paypal and Google Checkout too.
We are only able to process American Express cards via Paypal. No Paypal account is required, simply select card payments on the left. We can process Maestro by phone, please select call me for payment
Is the website secure to put my details on?
Yes this is guaranteed by us, sleeplandbeds.co.uk maintains the highest levels of security. Our site uses highest-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions.
If you select to pay over the phone we never ever write or store your card details. We process the transaction in real time why we are on the phone to you. If you shop online, your card details are not even stored on our secure server or anywhere else. Our bank receives an authorisation code from your bank if your card is verified as yours and payment authorised by your bank.
Will you deliver to a different address to my credit/debit card billing address?
We will under most circumstances. We will request additional proof of identity and address, we take security seriously and we hope you appreciate why we ask for this. We do give you the option to pay by cash on delivery or send a cheque.
Do I have to wait in all day?
No, we have our own logistics service, we carefully plan and work our delivery routes so that we can give you a one hour timeslot. If we are delayed due to traffic we will contact you to let you know, we will call anyway when we are nearby. If a neighbour is taking delivery at your home, you can let us know there number instead and we will call them instead.
I don't need my items yet, however would like to secure my items?
Yes if you are decorating or moving home and don't require your items until after a specific date we can hold them for you. We do advise placing your order (you can pay nearer the time) if you want a particular bed in case it goes out of stock. We don't charge a holding fee (some companies actually do)
I need some advice about choosing a bed can you help?
Yes please do give us a ring or leave a question on the contact us page. We work physically alongside our own staff who are friendly and very helpful and we are far from a large impersonal call centre. We don't outsource any aspect of our company.
No one is on commission or under pressure to achieve set sales targets or sell you add-ons either. Please never ever feel we expect anyone to buy anything from us when they ring. We prefer you think about it if not 100% sure, we have customers come back weeks later when they are ready.
What do I do if I find any problems after delivery?
Please contact us whatever the problem we will sort it as soon as possible for you.
Will you take my old bed away?
Unfortunately, we are not able to remove used beds or mattresses. This is because of health and hygiene, we prefer not to mix old items with new. Your local council can do this usually at no cost or a local recycling charity centre.
Can I order by phone?
Yes, of course. We appreciate our website is open 24 hours as such, any messages left out of hours will be returned the next morning.
