Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you deliver to? We deliver to mainland UK - England, Wales and Scotland. We are unable to deliver to IV and KW, although you can contact us for our recommended carrier.

For delivery to Europe, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Ireland, please see delivery section or contact us.

If you need to discuss any aspect of delivery before you order, you're welcome to contact us.


Do you have a showroom? We do, this is located in 1-2 Hooton Park, Hooton Road, Hooton, Cheshire CH66 7NA. In addition to delivery, you are welcome to collect, or takeaway if visiting our store.

Our online customer service team, and delivery department are based in offices next to our store. We also have a large warehouse. We don't outsource any aspect of our company.


How much is delivery? Delivery is free to mainland UK, except for the following areas.

The only exceptions where we are sorry that it is impossible to offer free are as follows. This is due to the distance, and driving safety regulations and we do have to use a courier for the following England NR, TR, Wales SA, Scotland AB, DD, DG8-9, G83-84, PA15-80 and PH, please contact us for the cost for these areas. We are unable to delivery to IV and KW.

England: BH, CO, CT, DT, EX, IP, PL, TN, TQ, YO11-16, and YO21-22. Scotland: DG5-7, KA, and KY. Wales: LL30-78 are £40.


Your children's beds are in stock, why can't I have them faster, such as next day? There's a few reasons. The main one is that, our own teams, manage them with great care, to ensure that they don't get damaged during transit. They aren't loaded on and off vehicles when arriving at different depots. They are also loaded on to our own vehicles, carefully, and in an order so that they don't need to be moved when accessing the current customer's.

We have tried in the past, when people asked us to, however we learnt that this isn't something that is beneficial to our customers. Another is that they are large and extremely heavy, and our drivers will take them upstairs, very carefully, rather than leave at the door. For some extremely far regions, which are some of those stated at the top of this page, to prevent a much longer lead time, we do use a courier, who we trust.

Our drivers have been with us for over 12 years, and know our products if any questions are asked. They are all helpful, polite and respectful. Also, it ensures no boxes are missing. We promise this is the best option we can offer you.


What happens during checkout and after I order? Checkout is secure and straightforward, you don't need to create an account, or select a delivery option (we'll arrange this with you), and there are no charges added.

Payment is authorised and verified by secure encryption with your provider, we don't see or store card details.

Full payment is immediate, unless selecting an interest free option in PayPal, you select 'finance' or cash on delivery.

When you confirm your order you will see the "thank you we have received your order" message. An automated email confirmation will also be sent straight away.

The team member managing your order will then process your order, and send a personal confirmation of items ordered and delivery address. Please double check the phone number is correct, as the driver will need it for delivery day.

They will also acknowledge any requests or messages that you leave. You are always welcome to send us a message, by replying to this at anytime (first one is secure receipt, no reply).

We will then contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. We will offer you a day and time where possible for the current week. Otherwise, and for orders placed over the weekend, for goods that we will be delivering that week, by 5pm on Monday. We do keep you fully informed.


I don't need my items yet, will you deliver before I'm ready? No, we always arrange delivery with you for a convenient day, we don't turn up without notice. If you are decorating or moving home etc. and don't require your items until after a specific date, we can secure and hold them for you.

Please either phone to place order, or leave a note at checkout. You can also let us know after you order.


Can I Contact You? Please never hesitate to contact us, whether it be with a product enquiry or advice, you need to know or discuss delivery time before deciding. We are also here if you have need any after sale care, or need any guidance when assembling an item (during opening times). Or simply to place your order in person.

We work alongside our team six days a week, we don't utilise call centres, we offer a secure and more personal service. Click here to contact us

We appreciate you may be apprehensive, everyone here is very friendly, helpful and easy to talk with. We are far from a large impersonal centre, and no one is under pressure by us to achieve sales targets. Never feel that we expect you to buy from us if you phone, or visit in person, we promise that we're the opposite.


What do I do if I find any problems after delivery? In the unlikely event you do, please contact us, whatever the problem we will sort it for you. Please bear with us whilst we sort out as quickly as possible.

Likewise if you need any help, or advice with anything after you've received your goods, we're always happy to help.


Do you accept returns? Yes, we want you to buy with confidence, and be happy with your purchase. Please contact us to let us know you would like to return your items for a refund or exchange. We will arrange a mutually agreeable date and time to collect. We just ask you please keep them safe, and in the condition and packaging they arrived in. Full returns procedure here

We hope that it gives you confidence, to know we almost never get requests for returns. Calculated from the last year, less than 0.01%. This we believe reflects, the quality of our products, and that we describe them accurately and honestly. We don't really get returns, however if we do we won't sell them online you always receive a brand new, unopened item.


When will delivery be? The lead times for mainland UK are stated on each item. This is a guide, and the majority of our own Sleepland exclusive range are delivered within 9 days as they are held here.

Some very far regions can take longer, you can see more on the delivery page, or you can ask us. If you are in one of the far regions that aren't stated as weekly (at the end of the delivery page), we can arrange a courier that we use and trust, this is faster, there is a surcharge for this.

With other brands it depends on which day you place an order, and as to when we receive new stock. Some if it's faster, we'll get delivered direct from the manufacturer - supplier, these are stated on the product detail.

We do take requests and messages into consideration where logistically possible, however if it is important that you know when delivery will be before you order, please contact us with your postcode, and items of interest.


We will arrange a convenient delivery day with you. We will contact you to check that proposed day and time are convenient. If not suitable we'll arrange another date. Times are from early morning through to early evening, all items are brought together.

We keep you fully informed.


Do you deliver on a weekend? We do, we have at least six vehicles out on a Saturday and Sunday. We don't charge extra for this. London and around are always a Saturday or Sunday delivery (no need to select an option). On the delivery page, or at the very end of this page, it states other weekend areas. We deliver to other areas of a weekend, however these are different each week. If you are unsure or need further details, please contact us.


What payment options do you give me? Debit/Credit Card: Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, Electron, American Express and Mastercard payments, processed securely by SagePay.

For optimum security we also utilise 3D secure, SafeKey, Verified By Visa and Mastercard Securecode. Your provider,  or PayPal, may send a verification code by text, or you bank may as you to authorise the payment on your app. This is all done by encryption, we don't see your details, we receive a security report and authorisation code to show payment accepted

Finance: There are two options, select PayPal for 'payin3' or finance to apply for 0% finance over 9-11 months. Subject to terms and acceptance.

Place order by phone: All debit and credit cards accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, and American Express. We process your payment whilst you are on phone, we never write them down or store them on computer. Your payment is taken by a named team member, we don't employ the use of virtual assistants/call centres. A receipt of order and confirmation is also sent to you, unless you prefer not to give us an email address.

PayPal. In addition to our checkout, you can checkout with PayPal too.

Cash on delivery: As we have our own delivery service and employ our own drivers, we are able to accept cash on delivery. A VAT invoice, and signed payment receipt is given on delivery.


Is the website secure to put my details on? Yes this is guaranteed by us, sleeplandbeds.co.uk maintains the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. We also utilise 3D secure, Verified By Visa and Mastercard Securecode.

If you select to pay over the phone we never write or store your card details. We process the transaction in real time whilst we are on the phone to you. If you shop online, your card details are not seen or stored.


Will you deliver to a different address to my billing address? We will under most circumstances. We may for security reasons request additional verification. Your bank will only authorise payment, if the name on the card and exact address matches the account holder. The same with PayPal.


Do your products carry a guarantee? Yes, all beds, furniture and mattresses carry a minimum one year manufacturer guarantee.


Will you take my old bed or mattress away? We are not able to remove used beds or mattresses. Our delivery team are brilliant and would do so, however we have researched and discussed this a lot. Due to health and hygiene, we don't feel it's in our customers interest to have new with old on our vans.

Also we spend hours loading goods on the vehicles in a special way and in an order as not to damaged, and this would disrupt this. Your local council can do this usually for a low cost, or a local recycling charity centre.

We have an online shop for the entire UK and also a showroom in Hooton, Cheshire.

Our online customer service team and ourselves are based at in offices in the unit attached at the Hooton premises so that we are a close knit team. You can be assured you are dealing with a long time established, well respected company. We're very friendly and approachable, so please never hesitate in contacting us before, or after you order, or after you receive your goods.

Whilst we try our best to be perfect, sometime things do happen, we hope it doesn't and touch wood, it doesn't often, however if you do experience any problems with your items or anything else, you have our promise that we will rectify this for you as soon as we possibly can.


Do I have to wait in all day? No, we have our own logistics service, we carefully plan and work our delivery routes so that we can give you a one hour timeslot. Please see delivery section for further details. Some items we arrange delivery direct from the manufacturer, if this is faster for you.
