Our sleigh bed is made to a very high standard, with only top quality solid wood throughout, there is no veneer. The white finish is opaque, fully painted, you can't see the wood grain as with a lacquer.

The Rubberwood is an excellent hardwood which is resilient and durable, it doesn't have knots that will leech through, and allows for the perfect, smooth white finish.
