Do you ban your pets from your room at night? It may seem like it’s a really bad idea but it’s surprising what some of the statistics are and maybe they could help you sleep better at night?

After a recent study that has been conducted the results were very shocking! Although 20% of the people said that their pets were a disturbance at night, nearly 40% said that having their pets with them helped them sleep.

So why is this? The main reason people said was that it gives them a sense of security. So maybe it is a good idea to sleep with your furry friends, if it has a positive influence on your sleep!

There are a few things you have to be wary of if you're having your little furry friends with you in bed, firstly it's not the best idea having your pets with you if they're particularly dirty as it will just bring in lots of dirt and also germs. Also you will have to change your bed sheets a lot more regularly, to try and keep dirt to the minimal amounts. Experts don’t recommend this either and they say in result of sharing beds with animals this it’s easy to carry diseases, fleas and ticks.

Clearly it’s your choice and if you take the precautions over this issue you have nothing to worry about and have a good night sleep.
