Returns Policy

We write all product descriptions ourselves, with as much detail and accuracy possible. We don't copy details off other sites, employ copywriters, marketers or companies that offer to get us higher on search engines etc. We are always honest, and offer quality goods.

We believe that having our own delivery service which results in goods being taken care of in transit, our heavy children's beds and bunk beds being carefully taken upstairs, and the quality of our goods, from reputable brands, including our own exclusive Sleepland® range, attributes to our return requests, or any faults, being less than 0.01% (based on the past 12 months).

We want you to shop with the added assurance that we offer a money back guarantee. If you would like to return an item to us you may do so within 14 days of receiving it. The items need to be unused, and in original packaging. All items are guaranteed for at least a year too. 

In the unlikely event you find a problem, or your item isn't perfect, we will rectify this for you. Please check all pieces before commencing assembly, and if any issues found, contact us straight away. We will ask for photos so that we can see what needs to be rectified for you. This needs to be done prior to assembly. 

Upon assembly if your bed doesn't feel stable, this will be a slight misassembly, please contact us and we will be able to help guide you. Instructions are provided, however if you need any further information, you can always contact us for guidance.

We are approachable, good natured and very accommodating to our customers. This legal policy is in place to protect us, and also for our customers benefit.

Items found faulty on opening the box: If your items are found to be faulty or have any imperfections, please contact us, and we will rectify. This is best done by replying to the personal email we sent confirming your order and delivery details

Please check that there are no issues with any of the pieces, when taking each piece out of the box, and prior to assembling. If there are, please don't start assembling, and please contact us to rectify. We are not liable for items that have been damaged during assembly. They must be in the original packaging, please keep this until you are satisfied as keeping the goods. If you do accidentally damage a part, please contact us to discuss, if a charge is required, this will be on a case by case basis.

All items have dimensions on the product page, we advise checking, prior to ordering that the item will fit, allowing for skirting boards etc. Also that there will be room to navigate up and around stairs. If you need any further dimensions, over those that are stated, please contact us

If you need any guidance whilst assembling the item, please contact us so that we can assist you (during opening hours). If your bed doesn't seem sturdy, then this is usually due to an assembly error. If you contact us we can help you correct this.

If the buyer has received the goods and on opening any parts are missing, or if there are damages, or faults to the item, then we ask that you contact us straight away to resolve this for you. We will resolve for you in the form of replacement parts, free of charge, providing that the damage has not occurred due to misuse by the buyer.
They must be in the original packaging, please keep this until you are satisfied with the goods. We may ask that you email us photos so that we can see better what the problem is, and clarify exactly what needs rectifying. We will replace goods and parts as fast as possible for you.

Items faulty in warranty/guarantee period: If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 7 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its guarantee period you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement. (This will depend on the manufacturer's procedures). The goods will be collected, free of charge, for the first collection attempt, which will have been pre-arranged with you. The goods will be inspected by the manufacturer, supplier, or ourselves, dependent on the product, and nature of the fault. Once the goods have been received, and checked, where a fault has been found, you will be contacted and the issue will be rectified by way of a repair or replacement.

Any products found to be wilfully damaged will be void from any guarantee by law. This includes taking due care and attention as detailed in the instruction leaflet/sheet, or communciated by ourselves either verbally or written, or on the product itself, such as the care label on a mattress. All items on our site carry a minimum one year guarantee.

If any items purchased develop a fault and its more than 7 calendar days since receipt, then provided the item is within its guarantee period, you are entitled to a replacement of parts, warranty repair or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights. If an item does have a manufacturing fault you will be entitled to redress under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) and the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002. We ask that if you discover a fault, you contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options further

You can contact the manufacturer. As we are authorised retailers and don't sell seconds we will deal with them on your behalf. For us to deal any issues on your behalf we ask that you email us
detailing the full nature of the problem. Or you may write to us. With our own Sleepland® brand, we will rectify this for you ourselves.

If you change your mind: If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 working days starting the day after delivery. Goods must not be assembled, they need to be unused, in their original packaging, in the condition they were delivered.

Please return any unwanted items to our warehouse between the hours of 9.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. Sleepland Beds, 1-2 Hooton Logistics Park, Hooton Road, Hooton. Wirral. CH66 7NA.

If you would like us to collect your unused goods, due to changing of mind, then please request this via email. We cannot guarantee this service, but we will look at your request and try and offer the best solution for both parties. If we agrees to collect your goods, there will be a cost of up to £79. This will be on a mutually agreeable date. However it will be on a day when we are next in your area, as we work on a multi-route basis.

You can either pay this before we collect or we can deduct it from your refund. We cannot offer free collection as due to our low margins, and free delivery we would incur a loss. You are welcome to check before you order what the cost would be, as it can be up to £79.

This way we feel it is fair to everyone. Return requests are very rare, for the last 12 months less than 0.01%. We can keep our prices as low as possible for all of our customers, and also offer genuine free delivery.

If you do want to return your goods we'll issue a full refund (minus a collection charge where applicable) via your original payment method. A refund is provided, only when our goods are back in our possession. Made to order items are excluded from return, unless there is a manufacturing fault. This is usually processed within 48 hours of receiving and checking the returned goods, excluding weekends. It can take longer to clear with your bank, or PayPal, we have no control over this, it depends on individual banks and accounts.

We don't deliver ourselves to Ireland or Northern Ireland. We do provide details of an excellent carrier with whom you can arrange delivery. The company will then collect the goods from us after you have placed your order with us. The contract for delivery is with the carrier and if you decide to return your goods, the delivery cost is non-refundable as it is a private arrangement with yourselves and the carrier. Also if you decide to return your goods from Ireland and Northern Ireland the same arrangement applies where you arrange for collection of your goods and pay the return costs. 

You can request a return or cancellation by emailing us. We ask that you provide full details of the reason for returning the item. 

For any refund to be made the consumer has a duty of care for the products during the cancellation period of 14 days. We advise you keep the original packaging, as it is the buyers responsibility to ensure items are returned in the same condition they arrived in.

Goods being returned as not required due to changing of mind under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, replaced by the Consumer Regulations from June 2014 should not have been used, or assembled, partly or fully. We ask that you take good care of the goods, and inform us in writing within 14 working days, beginning the day after receipt to cancel your order and once we have received this we will notify you and you can arrange returning the item to us at your earliest convenience. If you have assembled the goods we reserve the right not to accept your return request. We reserve the right to offer a partial refund if items bought don't arrive back in perfect condition, or have been tampered with, or are damaged in any way. A partial refund will be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than necessary (this applies to changing of mind or if assembled incorrectly).

We advise you to carefully measure to ensure the goods fit, before ordering. And also regarding assembling we are not under obligation to refund as per Consumer regulations for distance selling "the extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop". If you order the wrong size, or incorrect item and wish us to exchange, a delivery charge may be applied on the second delivery.

If you purchase items as a multi-buy offer, or free item, and any items part of this offer are returned, then the multi-buy offer is no longer valid, and the item/s kept will be charged at full price. This is put in place to prevent abuse of our offer.

When returning an item please ensure you do the following: Please ensure that the item is unused, in its original condition and that you contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Please note that no refund or replacement can be issued if the item has been used, wilfully damaged or tampered with in any way. The item must arrive back to us in the same condition in which it was delivered.

Mattresses that have been opened and used cannot be returned. This does not apply if a manufacturer fault is found, this is covered by the guarantee.

If the item is as stated above then kindly email us with a brief description of why you would like to return the item and confirm that the item is in the condition described above. You can also phone us.

This email should contain the full name of the person who placed the original order, along with the address and order number (this will be on the confirmation email we would've sent you to when you placed your order)

You will then receive an email confirming receipt of your email and instructions on how best to return the goods.

We don't generally have many return requests. However if we do we then we will never sell returned items as new even if they haven't been opened by the returnee. You will only receive a brand new item.

We deliver through the week, however London and surrounding areas, are only of a Saturday and Sunday each and every week.
