Our Sleepland exclusive single white Shortie bunk bed is much lower in height than average. This lovely modern single bunk bed may be ideal if you have a lower ceiling, as they are much shorter than average at 122cm.

The Shortie accommodates two 3ft single mattresses, it's only the height that's different, it isn't shorter in length.

The Shortie bunk bed is rounded throughout, including the openings of the lower bunk and shelf unit.

The shelf unit can be assembled onto either side. The shelves are a nice feature for your children to display their favourite books or toys.

Whilst smaller in stature, this is a very heavy bunk bed, and we will carry everything upstairs for you.

The end of the lower bed comes around, thus creating an edge to support the pillow at the side, as well as the back.

The deep and wide ladder steps are comfortable for children to climb. The ladder has cutout handles. There are two layers on each tread, the underside is re-enforced, providing optimum strength.

As these short bunk beds are a lot lower in height, they may also suit a child who would love a bunk bed, yet prefers to not sleep quite as high up. The lower bed sits close to the floor which may benefit younger children, or Montessori style parenting.

Even though they are a lot shorter than other bunks, the head clearance on the lower bunk isn't compromised at all for the child in the lower bunk. The clearance is 84cm, as a comparison, an average bunk bed is 74-84cm clearance.

The shorter height is created by having the lower bed low to the floor. There are still the same strong slats as the top, they just sit lower down.
