We designed the Mayfair midsleeper in 2012. This red and dark grey is a new colour scheme we've added to the range for 2024. The smooth modern finish is anthracite grey with a vibrant red vinyl trim. The interior surround that the slats bolt into is black steel.

This mid sleeper is reversible, you can fit the end bookcase and ladder on either end. All of the furniture including the desk is freestanding to give you the option to use away from the frame if space permits and your child would prefer open space for a den.

The bookcase is open at the back, however there is a lip to prevent items falling off.

As with all of our exclusive mid sleeper beds, when built the Mayfair is strong and sturdy without any movement. In the unlikely event it doesn't feel this way, it will be a slight mis-assembly, please contact us for guidance. The frame has bolts rather than screws, the slats are supportive and strong, and the smooth finish is durable. 

The ladder steps have two layers, the top grey with red trim, and then underneath we add a steel support. 

We advise assembling the frame where you will be placing it, please don't try and drag it, it is heavy, and also has non slip pads underneath which makes it safe for both wooden floors or carpets.
