Deluxe Wooden Pine Bunk Bed In Light Oak

The wooden bunk beds are made with New Zealand pine wood. The distinctive grain of this pine is enhanced by the light oak finish. With a traditional spindle design featuring chunky posts and plinths. The attractive design is offset further by the full pine panel on the lower bunk, however if you would prefer an open look this can be removed.

The two drawers shown are optional, if you do add drawers there are stoppers so that they stay flush. If not adding storage you can remove them if you prefer by unscrewing and tapping off. If you would like to add the drawers shown for the bunks, please add the bunks with or without mattresses, then select and add the drawers next. The Thomas is a versatile bunk bed where the ladder can be fitted to either side.

This wooden bunk bed can also be split into two single pine frames. If you want two identical beds rather than as shown in the top right hand photo, they can also be made without the full board panel, or one panel piece on each single frame. 

For our wooden bunk beds we always ensure the best timber for each design. These are made with pine wood. This chunky grade A, New Zealand pine is slow grown, it's harder than most other pines. The finish is a light oak.

With a pine bunk bed there will be imperfections and knots, some people like this, some don't, an alternative wood if you prefer is Rubberwood as this has less knots.
