Recommend a friend reward

We have noticed lately that we have many customers who come to us after they have been recommended by a friend or relative. We would like to give a small token of our appreciation to both the new customer and the person who recommended us.

We will give a £5.00 Marks and Spencer voucher to both parties. Simply when you order either by phone or online let us know the full name, address and email address if known of the person who has previously purchased from us. If online you can leave this in the additional information box at checkout or drop us an email. We will check our records and if all is well we will send your vouchers.

Suppliers to ITV1 Makeover Show

One of our divan beds and headboard will appear again on ITV1 60 Second Makeover on the 28th April 2009. We will bring more news on this after the show as remains confidential until then. Or we hope you will watch the show.

Well we were on the show, they mispelled our website as sleepandbeds.co.uk, oh well, I suppose we are all about sleep and beds. The latest bed we supplied was the Sweet Dreams Organic Cotton divan bed. The makeover team lay on the bed at the end and wouldn't get up it was so comfy.

Official Suppliers to Derbyshire County Council

Sleepland Beds are pleased to announce we have been chosen as official suppliers to Derbyshire County Council.

This was a very proud moment for us. We would like to give our appreciation to our customer who recommended us after being impressed with our service and products. Also to the Council for selecting us and our products.

Sleepshaper Mattresses

We are delighted to bring to you Sleepshaper mattresses. We first met Sleepshaper at the Birmingham show and they impressed us both because of the amazing comfort and quality of their mattresses and also because they are such lovely people.

They didn't give us a sales pitch, just very down to earth people who obviously love and take pride in what they do. They didn't need to either as their mattresses spoke for themselves when we lay on them (and we've laid on many). No wonder they have won the Which magazine best mattress award for the last two years.

Delivery Changes

As you may know we deliver using our own free inhouse delivery service so that we can take your beds and mattresses into the room of your choice. We now give you a one hour time slot, although please do make allowances for excessive traffic jams due to accidents etc. We will contact you if we are delayed though and over 99% of the time we are on time.

We also now deliver every Saturday to London and the surrounding areas free of charge.

Also due to increasing sales to Scotland we have removed the £20 charge for delivery to the majority of Scotland. We had this charge to prevent a longer lead time, we are now in Scotland weekly so are able to offer free delivery. Some remote areas still have a small charge.

For the rest of the UK we have decreased our lead times to give you faster delivery as we are now in more areas more often.
